- Advanced UAS software analyzes data to create detailed 3D models.
- AI algorithms identify potential problems and optimize project planning.
AirGCI in Action
GCI Consultants' first drone inspection, conducted in Hollywood, Florida, on November 21, 2016, demonstrated the technology's capabilities:
- Vertical takeoff and descent
- Multidirectional flight
- Stability in 22 mph winds
- Precise maneuvering
This inaugural flight reduced a week-long inspection process to a single workday, showcasing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of drone technology in building inspections. The drone, or unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), allowed a single operator to view parts of the roof that was inaccessible for practical and safety reasons. Beyond the roof, the UAS allowed our team to inspect and additional areas of the building envelope including glazing, cladding, and waterproofing systems.
