GCI Consultants, LLC, was retained to provide a full scope of new construction quality control services at the International Motorsports Center in Daytona Beach, FL. The subject is an 8 story, 190,000 sq. ft. office building with a glass curtain wall system. The building houses NASCAR Headquarters, Grand-Am Road Racing and the International
Speedway Corporation Construction was completed in 2009 and the building has since been LEED Gold Certified by the United States Green Building Council.

Services: GCI provided a full scope of new construction quality control services for wall systems, air and weather barriers, glass and glazing systems, waterproofing and roofing. This included, reviewing plans, specifications and trade submittals, conducting pre-installation conferences with all involved parties, witnessing the glazing systems manufacturer’s field water infiltration testing, and providing continuous consultation and site investigations throughout construction.
