Alfonso Alzamora, PE, CGC, is the Vice President and Principal at GCI. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified General Contractor with over 20 years of experience in engineering and consulting. Alfonso specializes in the design, evaluation, inspection, and testing of building envelope systems including exterior wall claddings, fenestrations, waterproofing, and roofing systems for both new and existing structures. He has worked on hundreds of projects throughout North American and the Caribbean. Alfonso provides technical and engineering expertise on projects for the development and construction of high-performance building-enclosure systems. He has extensive experience working on buildings with envelope performance problems, conducting forensic evaluations, remedial design, and management of rehabilitation programs, as well as providing associated litigation support services and expert witness testimony. He is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
